Kanchi Line
Kanchipuram is a temple city in Tamil Nadu, known for the many beautiful temples in various parts of the city. This ancient city is also known for creating gorgeous hand woven silk fabric. The silk known as Kanchi Pattu (tamil for silk) is considered auspicious for weddings and brides usually wear a kanchi saree at the wedding. These hand woven sarees are part of the history of Tamil Nadu. Whenever we get our hands on a kanchi saree we try to use every inch of the fabric to keep the saree alive!
